* Sun Microsystems Inc., whose server computers run corporate networks and Web sites, is reducing prices by as much as 32% on some of its older chips. Prices will be reduced 8% to 32% for the UltraSparc II series 3500-6500 processors and as much as 16% for series 10000 chips, said Shahin Khan, vice president of product marketing for system products. Sun is cutting prices because it recently introduced a new chip, UltraSparc III, Khan said.
