El Modena 4, No. 2 Canyon 0--Lindsay Klein (10-6-1) pitched a three-hitter and Jessica Hejna and Lauren Smith each had two hits for the host Vanguards (12-6-1, 3-0-1). Lisa Geer (8-2) took the loss for Canyon (17-6-1, 1-2-1).

Villa Park 4, Orange 0--Kindal Kincaid pitched a three-hitter and struck out seven and Sheri Donley hit her first homer for the visiting Spartans (10-8, 2-2). Vanessa Zboril struck out six for Orange (5-7, 1-3).

No. 4 Pacifica 5, Garden Grove 0--Sophomore center fielder Amy Mayrhofer had two hits and Jessica Marical (7-1) pitched a two-hitter for the visiting Mariners (15-3, 7-0).

Rancho Alamitos 12, La Quinta 5--Jami Weddle had a triple, a home run and four RBIs for host Rancho Alamitos (9-8, 5-2). Vanessa Brown doubled, tripled, scored three runs and had three RBIs for Rancho Alamitos.

Santiago 12, Bolsa Grande 0--Rachel Stefanucci pitched a two-hitter and struck out nine, and Tui Leapa hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning for the visiting Cavaliers (10-10, 5-2).
