Audie Bock and Rudy Escalante will speak at Friday’s Coalition Against Violent Crime meeting.
Bock is a former state Assembly member from Northern California who surprised the Democratic Party establishment by winning her seat as a Green Party member in a special election two years ago.
Escalante is chairman of the G.I. Forum of Orange and Los Angeles counties, which has endorsed reforming the three-strikes law.
The coalition includes organizations and individuals that educate the public about how California’s three-strikes law works.
The session is at 7 p.m. at the Southwest Senior Citizens Center, 2201 W. McFadden Ave., Santa Ana.
