The so-called “Both Hands Bandit” may have struck again, authorities said Thursday, this time at a bank in Ojai.
Ojai Valley National Bank on Maricopa Highway was robbed just after noon on Wednesday by a man who matches the description of a robber who has hit eight banks and eluded police for four months, said FBI Special Agent Brent Robbins.
The robberies began on Aug. 10 at the Mid-State Bank branch, then known as American Commercial Bank, in Ventura.
The bandit is described as being in his late 40s or 50s, with a graying blond crew cut and blue eyes.
