A U.S. Navy officer with ties to the Hells Angels was sentenced to eight years in prison for taking part in the beating of two rival motorcycle club members.
Mark Craver, a lieutenant commander at Lemoore Naval Air Station, received the maximum penalty under law Thursday. Craver, a 22-year Navy veteran, pleaded guilty in September to one count of assault with force likely to create bodily injury for the benefit of a criminal street gang.
Fifteen other men and women are charged with beating and robbing Paul Goonan and Andrew Randazzo after the victims refused to disband their motorcycle club.
