Enforce Traffic Laws
Whether I am crossing Coldwater Canyon, driving down narrow Moorpark Street in Studio City, navigating the 101 or 405 freeways or trying to enjoy the scenery on San Vicente Boulevard in Brentwood, I am constantly assaulted by the rude, tailgating, speeding, talking-on-the-phone, coffee-drinking drivers of this city.
Why isn’t the LAPD pulling over these speeding behemoths who tempt death every time they get behind the wheel? Is 50 mph the normal speed on Beverly Glen? Is a yellow light now reason to speed up to an intersection? We need to make the minimum speeding ticket for first-time offenders $500. Only strict enforcement of our laws will keep order on the roads.
