Grant Loses Cruz for the Season

Senior point guard Deja Cruz of Grant High will undergo arthroscopic surgery on her left knee and miss the rest of the season, according to Coach Steve Brumwell.
Cruz, averaging 15.6 points when she was injured during the Simi Valley tournament in December, was expected to return Feb. 8 against North Hollywood.
An MRI Tuesday revealed cartilage and ligament damage.
