Digital Biographers

* Most of us never actually get to write our memoirs. While we often hope that our legacy will outlive us, it is rare that we commit our achievements--and perhaps our follies--to a single collection.
Fortunately, in the 21st century we do not have to. We now leave trails with our jobs, our vacations, our browsing and our purchases. Virtually every action that we take is collected, stored and committed to record for posterity. There is no more need to write our own stories. Databases are the unacknowledged biographers of the world.
