In another Sunset League game:
No. 8 Fountain Valley 2, No. 10 Marina 0--Host Fountain Valley (11-5-6, 5-4-1) clinched third place and a playoff spot.
Sean Iliff scored in the fifth minute off a cross from Jason Graney, who then sealed the victory with a goal in the 60th minute.
In the Century League:
Foothill 2, El Modena 1--Foothill’s David McAulay and Anthony Keto scored second-half goals five minutes apart, erasing a 1-0 deficit and giving the Knights (15-6-3, 7-1-1) the league title.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Costa Mesa 2, Corona del Mar 0--Louis Day and Michael Gardiner scored for visiting Costa Mesa (12-5-1, 7-2-1), which clinched first place.
In the Serra League:
No. 4 Mater Dei 2, St. John Bosco 1--Eric Rolwing scored in the 14th minute from Mark Thornberry and Rueben Rosales had a goal in the 46th minute with a assist from Eddie Jensen for second-place Mater Dei (20-2-4, 3-1-2).
No. 2 Santa Margarita 3, Servite 0--Kevin Clements scored in the first half and Luke Boughen and Mike Losordo scored second-half goals for first-place Santa Margarita (19-4-3, 5-0-1). Goalie Erick Foss made five saves to get his 16th shutout.
In South Coast League girls’ soccer:
No. 4 Capistrano Valley 2, Trabuco Hills 0--Alison Vislay and Jen Pollick scored for host Capistrano Valley (14-2-5, 6-1-3), which clinched second place.
Dana Hills 1, El Toro 0--Dana Hills’ Joanna Irwin scored the game-winner in the 50th minute off a cross from Jenica Cooper.
No. 2 Mission Viejo 3, San Clemente 3--Mission Viejo led, 3-0, with nine minutes left but the Tritons rallied with goals from Sara Davis, Emily Haight and Danielle D’Amico. Kendal Billingsley had two goals for the Diablos (13-1-6, 6-0-4).
