Boy, 10, Is Bitten by Pit Bulls, Has Surgery

A 10-year-old boy was in stable condition at Suburban Medical Center in Paramount on Friday after undergoing surgery for about 20 bites inflicted by pit bulls.
Sheriff’s deputies said Dwayne Johnson suffered lacerations on his leg and arms during the attack Thursday evening. The boy said he was sitting on a wall behind his home in Paramount when the dogs attacked.
County animal control officers will retain custody of the dogs until it is decided whether they should be destroyed.
