SEASON AT A GLANCE: The 5-foot-8 guard is averaging 12 points and a team-high 5.1 rebounds for a Ventura team that is 19-5 despite having no player taller than 5-9. Fay is also a key part of the Cougars’ outside attack, making 61 of the team’s region-best 209 three-pointers.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Fay scored 53 points in two victories. She had 26 points, including five three-pointers, and four steals in a 71-57 Channel League victory over Santa Barbara and had 27 points and seven rebounds in an 83-55 nonleague rout of Hueneme.
