Electro Rent Posts Gain in 4th-Quarter Income

Electro Rent Corp. of Van Nuys reported that net income for the second quarter that ended Nov. 30 increased 42% to $8.7 million, compared with $6.1 million for the second quarter of 1999.
Revenue was $54.5 million, down from $61.5 million.
Electro Rent provides short-term rental and leasing of personal computers, workstations and general purpose electronic test equipment.
