Mission Viejo and Capistrano Valley, South Coast League rivals that are currently tied for the No. 1 position in the Orange County Sportswriters’ girls’ rankings, will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday in a makeup game. Their game Thursday was postponed because of rain.
LUNCHEON
Bill Stoneman, the Angels’ vice president and general manager, and Manager Mike Scioscia will be the speakers today at the Sports Newsmakers luncheon at the Arrowhead Pond.
