Second Executive Leaves Retailer Limited

Limited Inc. said its chief stores officer, Andrea Weiss, is resigning to pursue other opportunities, the second high-level executive to leave the apparel retailer this week. Weiss’ resignation follows the departure Monday of Peter Whitford, president and chief executive of Limited’s Structure men’s apparel division. Weiss joined Columbus, Ohio-based Limited in May 1998 from Guess Inc., where she served as president of its retail division. A Limited spokesman said the company has not decided whether it will hire a replacement for Weiss. Limited closed unchanged at $17.44 on the NYSE.
