Public Is Invited to Swearing-In

James K. Hahn will be sworn in as the 40th mayor of Los Angeles at City Hall today. The event is open to the public.
The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. on the steps of City Hall at 200 N. Spring St. Those who wish to attend should be at City Hall by 9:30 a.m.
A reception with food booths and entertainment will follow the inauguration.
Because of the ceremony, the following streets will be closed between midnight and 3:30 p.m.: 1st Street between Los Angeles and Spring streets, and Main Street between 1st and Temple streets.
