Parking, Parking, Who Has Some Parking?

From the always challenging world of airport parking:
The Parking Spot, which took over the old Car Barn facilities at LAX, has a new price and a new look.
The garage at 5701 Century Blvd. has new lighting, signage and elevators and a new price for its outside self-parking. The price increased last week to $9.95 a day. The tab for covered self-parking is $13.95, or $14.95 a day for valet parking. These fees do not include a 10% city tax.
Most notable, however, are the garage’s shuttles, which have been painted yellow with black spots, all the better to be seen in the throngs of traffic that circle the LAX terminals.

Meanwhile, near Orange County’s John Wayne airport, where parking is at a premium, Sutton Place Hotel, 4500 MacArthur Blvd., says it will not offer airport parking, a spokesman said.
For information on parking at the airport, call (949) 252-5200.
