19-Year-Old Dies After Pickup Crashes Into Wall

A Thousand Oaks man died early Wednesday after he lost control of his pickup truck and it slammed into a block wall and tree on Avenida de los Arboles, authorities said.
Ryan Brockett, 19, was pronounced dead at Los Robles Regional Medical Center about 1:30 a.m. after suffering multiple injuries in the crash less than an hour earlier, said Mitch Breese, senior deputy medical examiner.
Brockett and a passenger, Trenton Rossi of Westlake, were approaching Kensington Drive when the crash occurred, said Senior Deputy Peter O’Sullivan.
