Police were searching for a driver who shot and wounded two people in a big-rig in an apparent act of road rage on the Golden State Freeway in Boyle Heights.
The shooting was reported about 9:25 p.m. Thursday after the victims pulled off the freeway and stopped near Soto and 4th streets to call authorities, LAPD Lt. Greg Jones said.
The two victims, the truck’s driver and a passenger, were taken to County-USC Medical Center, where they were treated for minor wounds and released, Jones said.
Police were looking for a man who was driving a white Honda sedan, Jones said.
