Dead Man and Woman May Have Overdosed

A man and a woman visiting a Long Beach apartment for recovering addicts were found dead early Thursday by the building manager, and police said they suspect the pair had overdosed on drugs and alcohol.
Neither victim was immediately identified, said Jana Blair, a Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman. She described both as white, the man 40 to 50 years old, the woman in her 30s.
