Conference to Focus on Economy’s Impact

Real estate experts and business leaders will examine the impact of changing economic conditions on the industry at the Institute of Real Estate Management’s annual conference and exposition at a daylong event June 7 at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.
Highlights will include a session, “Can California stay competitive?” that will feature Jack Kyser, chief economist for the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp.; Stan Oftelie, chief executive of the Orange County Business Council; Rocky Tarantello, president of Tarantello & Associates; and Richard Gollis, principal of the Concord Group. The conference also will offer sessions on industry practices, financial markets and other industry topics, along with an exposition where companies will showcase products and services.
