New MIS Chief Leaving for Capitol Records

Two weeks after Clear Channel Communications announced the launch of Music Information Systems, the executive hired to run the new division has quit to take another job.
Dan Hubbert, named MIS senior vice president June 15, confirmed Tuesday that he is jumping ship to head the promotion department at EMI Group’s Capitol Records.
Clear Channel plans to sell airplay data gathered from its 1,200 stations to record labels through an array of in-house monitoring services under the MIS umbrella.
