Performer Rhys Thomas brings his gravity-defying circus tricks to the Discovery Science Center. In his one-man science show, “Up for Grabs,” Thomas juggles unusual objects, including fruits and vegetables, hatchets and saw blades, and spinning bowls.

Randall Woltz, an alumnus of Chapman University, will premiere his new Mass for Organ and Percussion at his alma mater. The work was commissioned by the Orange County Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, in celebration of its 50th anniversary. Woltz will be the organist. Joining him will be the Chapman University Percussion Ensemble.
