* Rockwell has recognized Haluk O. Sankur as an engineer of the year, the company’s highest honor for technical achievement.
Sankur, a Ventura resident who works at Rockwell Science Center in Thousand Oaks, is one of six engineers recognized for significant accomplishments during 2000. He was selected for his contributions in the area of micro-optics technology, which is used in telecommunications.
* ValueClick of Westlake Village announced the promotions of Sam Paisley to chief operating officer and Earle Malm to vice chairman.
Paisley will manage and develop the company infrastructure and lead corporate development activities. Malm will be responsible for forming strategic partnerships with complementary businesses and oversee online advertising.
