Driver Who Killed Pedestrian Sought

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department was searching for the driver of a car that struck and killed a pedestrian late Saturday.
The motorist was driving a white compact four-door car and hit the victim in the 10100 block of Dale Street in Stanton at 11:23 p.m., Sheriff’s Sgt. Randy Benicky said.
The pedestrian, Steve Jesus Ontiveros, 23, of Stanton, was taken to Western Medical Center-Anaheim. Ontiveros died of head injuries, said the county coroner’s office.
