Santa Monica def. Oxnard, 15-9, 15-9, 15-10--Alfred Reft had 16 kills, 20 digs and 18 assists, but the Yellowjackets (10-8) fell to the No. 3-seeded Vikings in a Division I match at Santa Monica.

Royal def. Canyon, 19-17, 15-12, 15-12--David Russell had 19 of his 43 kills in the first game to help host Royal in a Division II match.

Travis Osterhoudt had 13 kills and eight digs for Royal (23-4).
