Voter Registration Deadline Is Monday
Monday is the last day for Los Angeles residents to register to vote in the June 5 election.
The postcard registration forms, available at most libraries, post offices, fire stations, and Department of Motor Vehicles offices, must be delivered to the city clerk or the county registrar-recorder’s office by Monday.
Because of the short amount of time before the election, those registering by Monday’s deadline will not be sent a voter pamphlet or a sample ballot. Instead, they should receive a postcard identifying their polling place. Voter information is available on the city clerk’s Election Division Web site, https://www.lacity.org/CLK/Election.
Citizens can register in person at the Election Division, 700 E. Temple St., Room B-23, Los Angeles; or at the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder’s Office, 12400 Imperial Highway, Norwalk.
