Mirthful, madcap and just a bit mean-spirited, the one-hour finale of “The Drew Carey Show” (9 p.m. ABC) finds a stressed-out Drew stuck in a straitjacket at a psych ward, where he meets a guy who thinks he’s Larry King (“Is it just me or does Ann Miller have a great set of gams?”).
A third season of the sweet, soulful “Felicity” (9 p.m. WB) comes to an end as Noel graduates, while his ex-girlfriend Ruby returns with a hope of rekindling their romance.
Dawson packs his bags for California, while Joey hopes he’ll stay for the summer on the season-ender of “Dawson’s Creek” (8 p.m. WB).
The season finale of “Ed” (8 p.m. NBC) pairs the small-town title character with Carol at the school prom.
“Grounded for Life” (8:30 p.m. Fox), the spirited midseason comedy that gets great mileage out of funny flashbacks, has a finale in which Sean and Claudia recall their chaotic wedding.
A subpar season of “Law & Order” ends with back-to-back episodes (9 and 10 p.m. NBC). The finale’s plot involves an election whose ballots were stolen and mismarked. Beware of hanging chads!
Rounding out the evening, “Star Trek: Voyager” (8 p.m. UPN) reaches the end of its seven-year mission.
