Gas Masks at Dinner

Re “Real Men Should Start to Worry About Germ Warfare,” Commentary, Oct. 10: If I were one of these terrorists and I had read Arianna Huffington’s commentary about a bunch of Hollywood women presiding over a dinner party in which the subject was gas masks and Cipro, I would be swooning in the ecstasy that the notion of victory brings.
But if I thought the so-so silent guys of America, the dudes, were, each one of them, willing to die, to give their lives so these women could go on having these ridiculous conversations rather than letting them get carted off to some old football stadium and shot in the neck for clucking like hens, then I would take notice. After all, these terrorists are willing to die to get their point across and our men have to be willing to die to stop them.
