In other Southern Section games:
No. 3 Newhall Hart 31, Palmdale 7--Tim Gregory scored three touchdowns, two rushing and one receiving, to lead the Indians to victory in a nonleague game at Palmdale.
Gregory gained 91 yards in 10 carries and scored on runs of one and 48 yards . He also had five receptions for 87 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown.
Quarterback Matt Moore competed 24 of 42 passes for 341 yards and two touchdowns for Hart (3-0). He had two passes intercepted.
Derek Hagan of Palmdale (2-2) had 10 receptions for 68 yards. Palmdale’s touchdown came on a four-yard run by Jacob McGravey in the first quarter.
