Vanderhook Injured

Huntington Beach Edison catcher Cory Vanderhook, a second-team All-Sunset League selection last season and a three-year starter for the defending Southern Section Division II champion Charger baseball team, will be sidelined at least four weeks because of a broken right hand.
Vanderhook sustained the injury during a 3-1 Sunset League victory Wednesday against Huntington Beach Marina. The No. 3-ranked Chargers (13-4, 6-1) lost 1-0 to Marina (12-6, 4-3) on Friday.
