Did no one else notice the global effort in the April 12 combined Dodger shutout over the Padres? The Dodgers got six innings from Ishii of Japan, two from Carrara of Venezuela and one from Gagne of Canada.
Not only was the shutout international, it was intercontinental: Asia, South America and North America.
