Skakel Lawyers Try to Paint Ex-Tutor as Killer
- Share via
Defense attorneys for Michael Skakel suggested that the defendant’s ex-tutor has admitted to the 1975 killing of Skakel’s neighbor Martha Moxley.
Defense attorneys asked the judge to allow testimony and evidence they say will implicate Kenneth Littleton as the killer.
“Mr. Littleton has maintained his innocence and will continue to do so,” said his attorney, Eugene Riccio.
Skakel, a nephew of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, is accused of beating Moxley to death with a golf club. The two neighbors were 15 at the time. Testimony is scheduled to begin May 7 in Norwalk.
