American Legion State Tournament to Begin

American Legion baseball teams from Woodland Hills West, Bellflower St. John Bosco and Hemet are Southern California’s representatives to the six-team, double-elimination state tournament, which begins today in Yountville.
St. John Bosco will play Hemet at 9 a.m. Woodland Hills West, made up of players from El Camino Real High, meets Palo Alto at noon, and Yolo plays Stockton at 3 p.m.
