The city is seeking applications from residents interested in serving on its Arts Commission, an advisory body that assists the City Council.
Commissioners, who are appointed to two-year terms, meet on the second Thursday in January, April, July and October. They explore ways to get arts funding and support artistic and other cultural aspects of the community.
For an application, call the city clerk’s office weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 449-2151, or print a copy from the city Web site: www.toaks.org. The deadline for applications is 5:30 p.m. Sept. 6.
