Navistar Posts 3rd-Quarter Loss

Truck maker Navistar International Corp. reported its third straight quarterly loss, citing soft demand and a labor strike, and predicted a loss for the fourth quarter.
Shares of Navistar fell $2.14, or 8.5%, to close at $22.94 on the NYSE.
The company reported a net loss for the fiscal third quarter ended July 31 of $16 million, or 27 cents a share, contrasted with a profit of $2 million, or 3 cents, a year earlier.
