A gunman held up a drugstore and attempted to rob a music store Sunday afternoon, police said.
The robber entered the Wherehouse store in the 2800 block of Cochran Street shortly after 3 p.m. and demanded money from a cashier, police said. When the cashier refused to comply, the robber left.
A few minutes later, the robber stole a small amount of cash and liquor from a clerk at Longs Drug Store in the 3900 block of Cochran Street, about a mile from the music store, police said.
No one was injured in either incident, and the cases remained under investigation late Sunday. Authorities do not have a detailed description of the robber.
