Agency to Begin Return of 470,000 Refugees

The U.N. refugee agency will start sending home 470,000 Angolan refugees next year after combatants agreed in April to a cease-fire ending a 27-year war in their country, officials said.
The Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees agreed with the government of Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos last week to start repatriation in January.
