Road Rage

When I looked at my paper Wednesday morning, I was intrigued by the nicely paved road in the front-page photo of a woman in Zambia (“Zambia Rejects Gene-Altered U.S. Corn,” Aug. 28). I’ve lived in my house in Woodland Hills for 36 years, and my scarred, rutted, cracked, ignored, “not safe to walk on in the dark” street has never been resurfaced.
