“Santa Barbara Car Free” is a map-guide that shows bicycle routes, bus and shuttle lines and a suggested walking tour of the coastal city north of Los Angeles. It also gives information on how to get there by train and plane. To order, visit www.santabarbaracarfree.org, which has more detailed information and links to transit sites, or mail a postcard with your name and address to P.O. Box 60436, Santa Barbara, CA 93160-0436.
The map is a part of a program coordinated by the Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District to encourage car-free travel and reduce air pollution in the area.
