Re “The Indian Taught Her Every Litter Bit Hurts,” Voices, Sept. 7: If Tricia Shore felt that “the Indian taught her,” she could have just picked up the wrapper and put it in the trash instead of bemoaning the lack of a sense of responsibility in others. If we all just did one thing, like pick up a piece of trash, maybe the world would be a cleaner place. By the way, the Indian was Iron Eyes Cody.
