KCBS-TV and its corporate parent, Viacom, have established a scholarship fund for the two children of Larry Greene, the cameraman killed Sept. 6 while on assignment in the Persian Gulf.
Greene, who worked for KCBS for 24 years, was killed when the U.S. Navy helicopter in which he was riding crashed into a Syrian freighter, the Pentagon said.
He had been covering U.S. servicemen serving in the Middle East, KCBS officials said.
Contributions can be sent to: The Sons of Lawrence H. Greene Scholarship Fund/CSFA, 1505 Riverview Road, St. Peter, MN 56082.
