Global Crossing Seeks OK for Settlement

Global Crossing Ltd. is seeking court approval to pay $113.5 million to Lucent Technologies Inc., Nortel Networks Corp. and other suppliers owed $497 million by the fiber-optic network operator.
The companies, which include Juniper Networks Inc. and a unit of Alcatel, are owed for products and services, court documents show.
