Man With Toddler in Car Crashes in Police Pursuit

Police arrested a suspected narcotics violator Tuesday after he led them on a high-speed chase through city streets, ending in a crash with his girlfriend’s 18-month-old daughter in tow.
Christopher Finley, 28, of Fullerton suffered a minor head injury in the accident near Brookhurst Street and Valencia Avenue in Fullerton, but the girl wasn’t hurt. “As soon as the pursuit ended, police got her out of the car,” said Anaheim Police Sgt. Rick Martinez.
The chase began about 2:15 p.m., when narcotics investigators tried to pull the man over, but he fled at speeds up to 110 mph.
When they saw the girl in the car, Martinez said, police pulled back from the chase. But it ended in a crash anyway when Finley collided with another car. The driver of that car suffered minor injuries.
