Baghdad
* An Air Force B-1B bomber levels a building in the Mansour district where Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and his two sons are believed to be meeting. U.S. officials are uncertain whether the Iraqi leader survived.
* The Palestine Hotel, which houses most foreign media, is hit with fire from a U.S. tank, killing two journalists and injuring several others. U.S. forces say they were responding to fire coming from the direction of the hotel.
* Offices of Al-Jazeera also hit, killing one reporter.
* Marines capture the Rashid military airport in southeast Baghdad. They report finding enough Iraqi ammunition nearby for about 3,000 troops. They also seize a prison where U.S. Army uniforms belonging to U.S. POWs are found.
* An Air Force A-10 Warthog providing support for Army armored vehicles is hit by Iraqi ground fire. The pilot ejects safely.
* Hospitals report they are running out of supplies to treat the wounded, according to a report by the World Health Organization.
Kirkuk
* U.S. warplanes bomb Iraqi troops in and around the city.
Basra
* Faced with less resistance than expected, British military officials say administrative control of the city soon will be turned over to civilians.
