Sadly, Poachers Will Always Be Among Us

Re “11 Accused of Killing Hundreds of Black Bears,” Jan. 23: Such stories are difficult to read but, I’m afraid, necessary to alert a lot of us to the sad facts of poaching and poaching for hire. Poachers unfortunately will always be among us, right along with the child molesters and rapists. Animals, especially the big, wild, “trophy” kind, will always be the silent victims.
