Mother, Daughter Die in House Fire

A 12-year-old girl and her 41-year-old mother were found dead inside a Victorville home that caught fire Wednesday morning.
“All indications are that the fire was accidental in cause, and probably electrical,” San Bernardino County sheriff’s spokesman Chip Patterson said.
A neighbor reported smoke coming from the residence at 5:58 a.m. Patterson said the victims were “presumably sleeping” as the fire spread inside the home. Patterson said the victims’ names were being withheld pending autopsies and the notification of relatives.
