Trial of Alleged Al Qaeda Supporters Begins

Twenty-three suspects charged with links to Al Qaeda went on trial in Brussels, and two had to be separated by guards when they lunged at each other after giving conflicting testimony. The two, Mohamed Fethi and Abdelhouaid Aberkan, are among 12 suspects accused of being part of a phony passport ring linked to the terrorist group.
Eleven others are accused of planning an attack on a U.S. air base at Kleine Brogel that is believed to house tactical nuclear warheads.
