College District Chief Will Retire in June

William A. Vega, chancellor of the Coast Community College District for the past decade, has announced he will retire June 30.
Before taking over as chancellor, Vega was president of Coastline Community College in Huntington Beach for eight years.
Besides Coastline, the district includes Golden West College in Huntington Beach and Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa. It is in the process of selling KOCE-TV Channel 50, a public broadcasting station.
