Interesting article on what’s banned and what isn’t [“At Customs, You May Be in Trouble if the Beagle Sits Down,” Travel Insider, Nov. 2]. My daughter and I had an apple confiscated at Washington Dulles International Airport coming back from Germany last spring. Pork I understand, but an apple?
