* Kara Uhl and Geena Urango, Los Alamitos: Had 20 kills and 15 kills, respectively, for host and No. 9-ranked Griffins in a 23-25, 29-27, 27-25, 25-15 Sunset League victory against Huntington Beach.

BOYS’ WATER POLO

* Michael Bury, Newport Harbor: Registered eight goals, three assists and four steals for the No. 8-ranked Sailors in a 15-5 Sea View League victory at Laguna Hills.

GIRLS’ GOLF

* Ryann O’Toole, San Clemente: Shot a one-over-par 37 and earned medalist honors in the team’s 212-245 South Coast League victory over Lake Forest El Toro at El Toro Golf Course. Elsie Walker shot a five-over 41 for the visiting No. 7-ranked Eagles, who clinched the outright league title.
